How did you even end up here

this motherufcker

I dont know what to put in this header

The first anime i remember watching would be either dbz or ranma1/2 (i was like 5 at the time) my dad would play the pirated episodes on his pc and honestly i might watch ranma again. I didnt watch any more weeb shit until about 2022, the one that got me back into it would be the my master has no tail adaption (pretty good you should watch) and ive been watching that shit ever since ig. anyways rest of this is basically just gonna be explaining some shit ive watched or read. (btw my taste is kinda shit so sorry if some of the stuff i write is absolute garbage) -22/07/24

My Master Has No Tail

dont worry this anime/manga isnt overly fanservicey i just didnt have any better image on me

Yeah this one is a good one. so tldr a mameda a tanuki goes to osaka and manages to become the apprentice of a kitsune rakugoka. lotsa funny shit happens in both anime and manga, they end up in hell at some point, and as mentioned in the previous section it was the catalyst that got me back into weeb. overall pretty good, i remember waiting for new episodes to ccome out on youtube, i watched a premier of one of the episode while shitting. 8/10 big funny - 22/07/24

Watamote

painfully accurate

One of my favourites and its "Wata moe tay" not "Wata moat". I read the manga but i never watched the adaptation. so basically tomoko has pretty bad social anxiety i think and is also a bisexual in denial and also really pervy. shes basically every terminally online breakcore fan if they were put in their ideal life. the little sections abt the authors around the end of the chapters are cute and the evolution of the artstyle is cool to see. also yeah the manga moves from pure comedy to having genuine character development like 1/3 through i think. 8.5/10 painfully comedic - 22/07/24

Azumanga Daioh

sata andagi

You probably know about this thing already. absolute meme factory and kinda insane at times. the name azumanga daioh im pretty sure is a pun on the authors name (azuma) and manga with daioh meaning great king and also being the name of the magazine azumanga is published in. i originally read the manga on web however i eventually bought the thick book with all the chapters in them. my favourite character is sakaki. watching the artstyle evolve was interesting how the detail migrated form character to background. the author, mr azuma made another pretty popular manga after this which should be what i talk abt next. just like watamote i never watched the anime. 9/10 the memes - 23/07/24

Yotsuba

she is literally a ball of joy

Manga about a single father raising his adopted child. one of my favourites. sadly it probably wont get an adaptation despite its popularity as mr azuma doesnt think yotsuba would work in a anime :( 10/10 shes cute - 23/07/24

Garupan

i dont even know where i got this image

Some guy uploaded all the episodes on a discord server i was on and i watched it like that. honestly any and all realism goes out the window immediately with this one but hey its cool and fun. models are unnessecarily accurate. 7/10 its cool but gotta take away points for realism - 23/07/24

Shimeji Simulation

I love this one

this one was formerly my favourite before being replaced by watamote (SPOILERS AHEAD). taking place in west omogi, the main character, shijima, is a hardcore neet(if i remember correctly she stayed in a wardrobe for a few years without going out) and honestly i used to kinda relate to her... anyways she meets majime the egg girl and begins a gay relationship with majime. at first shijima is hesitant to acknowleedge their relationship often pushing majime away but as the series goes on she gets closer and closer to majime. once shijimas big sister (big sis) merges reality with dreams shijima is shown to accept majime as a partner however is still sortof indifferent. once big sis accidentaly clones herself and breaks reality shijima and majime ends up exploring peoples little individual dreams (or ig its reality now?) but eventually to shield themselves from the weird shit they make a house to live in (because reality and dream are merged you can make shit by imagining it hard enough). they spend probably a few decades, maybe even centuries inside their house eventually getting so bored to the point of nearly being braindead. majime is about to break down and shijima decides to hug her (usually majime is the one giving the hugs and comforting shijima) this causes majime to jump on shijima and strip her, she proceeds to attempt to have sex with shijima which causes them to blur together. shijima runs away and for a brief second forgets about majime, this causes majime to dissapear. she spends a long time exploring the rest of the messed up realities meeting her old friends which only remind her more of the good time with majime, all of this while constantly regretting her decisions and wishing to see majime once again. this culminates in shijima eventually breaking down in tears alone after reflecting on herself and realising just how alone she is now without her egg gf. shijima eventually meets big sis who is now reduced to nothing but her fish hairclip, she uses her last power to sort out the world and prevent everything from blurring into one monolithic essence, this causes her to cease to exist. now everyone is isolated in their own little spheres of reality. shijima lives out on her own little grassy planet with nothing but a makeshift hut that resembles her old room before big sis turned everything into a dream, she dreams of being with majime or maybe the isolation is the dream, shijima by this point has gone isolated long enough that she cant tell which one is dream or reality (very taoist hehe). she eventually goes to sleep for a hundred years. eventually she wakes up to a train stopped on her planet, she hops aboard to finally reunite with egg. on the train she meets chito and yuuri from shoujo shuumatsu ryokou (who is also in shimeji sim) and she has a small conversation in which she realises once more how important majime really was to her. people board an depart along shijimas longjourney, shijima herself sees lots of different places herself. while shijima is doing this majime recreates the book of genesis (very loosely) up until moses. the equivalent of chanukkah ig in majime world happens too? basically she no longer speaks to the people of her world but she says that eventually someone will come and she will show the truth or sumn like that. shijima eventually finds majimes planet, and she finds out in there shes held as a divine being as majime prophecised. the people beg for shimeji to help find majime as the prophecy told however shijima herself doesnt know where majime is so she rusn away, eventually she finds yoshika (her fish pencilcase which she really loves which was named by majime) who leads shimeji to the room where majime has been waiting patiently for shimeji the whole time. they eventually reunite and nearly blur together again like when they were having sex but they ended up growing borders so they wouldnt blur into one but would still be together. they reunite and vow to visit the others (other residents of west omogi) eventually. series ends on a happy note with the last panel being of the train that united the many residents of west omogi scattered across the universe (I interpret the train as being either big sis barely holding together working to reunite the couple or as a final gift to shijima from big sis that she created before ceasing to exist). overall pretty emotional rolercoaster 9/10 mushroom - 23/07/24
